What You Need to Know About Hilton Properties

With over 5,000 hotels in over 100 countries, Hilton is the 5th largest hotel chain in the world.  There are 14 brands that fly under the Hilton flag, each different and unique and catering to a different type of traveler.  Hilton hotels fall under the following categories:  luxury, upper scale, upscale, midscale, midscale/select service, and timeshares.

Luxury

Waldorf Astoria – 25 hotels

The list of all Waldorf properties can be found here.   Many Waldorf Astoria hotels are aspirational properties in desirable locations.  Waldorf hotels offer the highest levels of service and experiences to travelers.  Per Hilton, “In exceptional destinations around the globe, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts reflect the culture and history of their extraordinary locations, as well as fresh, modern expressions of Waldorf Astoria’s rich legacy. Waldorf Astoria provides guests the exceptional environment and the personalized attention of true Waldorf service that creates a singular experience.”

Conrad – 23 hotels

A place to experience service and style on your own terms. A place to connect with the world. A place to stay inspired. We offer our guests one-of-a-kind experiences with sophisticated, locally inspired surroundings. Service that’s more than personal, it’s intuitive. And connections to people and places around the corner, and half way around the world.”
